How to clear your cache/cookies and resolve account access problems

Once you’ve confirmed that no one else is logged into your account, please delete your cache and cookies:

Internet Explorer 11 and 10

  1. From the Tools menu, click Delete Browsing History.
  2. Deselect Preserve Favorites website data, and select Temporary Internet files and website files, Cookies and website data, and History.
  3. Click Delete.

Internet Explorer 9 and 8

  1. Click Tools.
  2. From the Safety menu in the upper right, click Delete Browsing History...
  3. Deselect Preserve Favorites website data, and select Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History.
  4. Click Delete.

Internet Explorer 7

  1. From the Tools menu in the upper right, select Internet Options.
  2. Under Browsing history, click Delete.
  3. To delete your cache, click Delete files...
    To delete your cookies, click Delete cookies...
    To delete your history, click Delete history...
  4. Click Close, and then click OK to exit.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the browser.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
  4. Select Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data, and Cached data and files.
  5. Click Clear.

Firefox

  1. In the browser bar, enter: about:preferences#privacy
  2. Under History, click clear your recent history.
  3. From the Time range to clear drop-down menu, select the desired range.
    To clear the entire cache, select Everything.
  4. Under Details, select the items you want to clear (e.g., Browsing & Download History, Cookies, Cache).
  5. Click Clear Now.

  1. In the browser bar, enter: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
  2. From the Obliterate the following items from drop-down menu, select the desired range.
    To clear the entire cache, select the beginning of time.
  3. Select the items you want to clear (e.g., Browsing history, Cookies and other site and plugin data, Cached images and files).
  4. Click Clear browsing data.

  1. In the browser bar, enter: opera://settings/clearBrowserData
  2. From the Obliterate the following items from drop-down menu, select the desired range.
    To clear the entire cache, select the beginning of time.
  3. Select the items you want to clear (e.g., Browsing history, Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files).
  4. Click Clear browsing data.

  1. From the Safari menu, select Preferences.
  2. Click the Privacy tab.
  3. Click Manage Website Data...
  4. Select jdpowerconnect.com, then click Remove.
  5. Click Done.

Safari 7 and below

  1. From the Safari menu, select Reset Safari.
  2. Select the items you want to reset (e.g., Clear History, Remove all website data).
    As of Safari 5.1, Remove all website data covers both cookies and cache.
  3. Click Reset.

  1. From the home screen, tap Settings, and then tap Safari.
  2. Tap Clear History and Website Data.

  1. Start your browser.
  2. Tap Menu, and then tap More.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Under Privacy settings, select Clear cache, Clear history, or Clear all cookie data as appropriate.
  5. Tap OK to accept the deletion.
